Welcome to Bambinos Bilingual Montessori

My Name is Luz Angelica Schuitt; owner of Bambinos Bilingual Montessori. Currently teaching children infant and toddler in a safe loving in-home environment. Bambinos specializes in teaching children English and Spanish language at an early age.  The environment at Bambinos encourages kids to learn in a loving in-home setting.

Three important learning requirements at Bambinos include an Adequate Environment, Proper Materials, and a Receptive Teacher.  The Montessori learning program teaches kids to learn at their own pace. In addition to the Montessori learning environment I can teach the children to speak Spanish. Children can learn to speak foreign languages very efficiently at an early age.

I will, upon request teach your child the basics of signing.  Infant signing is the first form of communication expressed by children at the earliest age.  Learning the basics of signing can be a rewarding and life fulfilling experience.

I look forward to providing a safe and loving learning

experience for you and your child.

Who Was Maria Montessori?

Maria Montessori was born in Italy in 1870 at Chiaravalle, a small province of Ancona in Italy. In 1896 she became the first woman in Italy to take the degree in Doctor of Medicine.   The first Casa Dei Bambini, or Children’s House was established in 1907 in Rome, and by 1916, early education centers were teaching the Montessori method in various locations around the world. The Montessori Physical Environment is a critical element of teaching children. A prepared environment was provided for the children all under 5 years of age.
“The children's life revolves around play. They play to learn and grow to discover their world and all the possibilities life presents before them.”

“What you can teach a child and how best you can teach them depends on what they have learned before, and, how well he has learned it”
                                    -Maria Montessori-

Montessori Philosophy

The Montessori philosophy is based on respect for the child needs and the teacher's ability to observe objectively and this way to be able guide the child   to develop in harmony, that is why the Montessori philosophy the teacher is called “guide”, because the role of the adult is to accompanying the child is in the process and be the link between the child and material work.

The philosophy gives central importance to the child’s emotional and spiritual development without forgetting the cognitive aspect. In Montessori we trust the child and in their potentialities; we work with deep interest for the children integral development providing the tools to participate actively in the society we live and acquire the knowledge that their individual actions impact the world.

Montessori Curriculum
Montessori's approach to education is largely based on the teacher introducing the child to appropriate educational materials after careful observation of the child's interests. It emphasizes educating the whole child by focusing on all aspects of development, including intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual.

Montessori believed that children were more responsive to certain learning experiences at different times, which she referred to as a child's "sensitive periods." She taught teachers to recognize these periods and direct children to materials that would satisfy natural curiosity and the innate ability to learn. Montessori teachers often show children how to use educational materials before turning them over to the students. Montessori believed that children learn best from doing, rather than from listening to instruction. Much of the learning in a Montessori preschool environment focuses on life skills, such as dressing, hand washing, and organizing and social behavior.

Montessori classroom materials are designed for children to learn through seeing, touching, hearing, feeling and moving. The classrooms consist of multiple age groups and older children are encouraged to teach younger students. Classrooms typically look more like a home than a traditional school.

In Bambinos classroom, the space is divided into several areas by low open shelves: one for practical Life exercises, one for Sensorial, one for Language, one for Math and other areas for art, music, geography and science.
