Safety

Open Door Policy

I encourage you to stop by during business hours and participate in our learning environment. Parents have free access to all Bambinos areas used by the child care. Please let me know when you want to come, so I will tell you  which activities you can help me during your visit (read books, serving lunch/snacks, supervise children while playing outside, etc) Also I welcome parent’s help with field trips and other special projects.

Visitors tend to make the children behave in an excited manner that does not usually
occur when I am alone with them. Also, your child may become upset when your visit is over and you leave without them. Please keep those things in mind when planning your visit

I maintain an Open Door Policy. This means you are always welcome to call or visit at any time during regular hours. Open Door Policy does NOT mean my door will always be unlocked. For children's safety, I will keep my door locked during regular business hours.

Bambinos Daycare area is set up as a safe environment for children.  Any vehicle used to transported children will contain first aid kit and emergency information for all children in care

General liability insurance: Bambinos maintain general liability insurance for the business.

Animals:
My home has four Dogs (3 toy poodles “Sammy, Ricky & Oreo” and 1 shar Pei “Blue Bear”) and two Guinea Pigs (Bambina & George).  They are kid-friendly, loveable animals. They have been certified as healthy by a veterinarian and are current on all immunizations and license.

The children will have access to the above pets when we are outside and when they ask for play with, no more than 10 minutes inside the bambinos’ room and one at time. No child will be left unsupervised around the animals at any time.

Emergency Procedures:
Fire drills shall be practiced with the children every month.
In case of an emergency that would require an evacuation, children will be evacuated through the nearest safe exit. The attendance form and emergency cards will be taken along with the emergency bag to ensure that all children are accounted for and all families notified.
